Baidu has introduced a new powerful neural network for text recognition — Unlimited-OCR 2, capable of processing thousands of pages at once. This model extracts information from documents, including tables and formulas. Its special feature is that it does not need to re-analyze the entire text: the neural network works only with the necessary sections, which significantly reduces memory consumption. During testing, Unlimited-OCR 2 was able to process all seven Harry Potter books in a single pass.
